【S.K.H Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund】
A fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po has resulted in significant damage, with multiple casualties and thousands of residents displaced from their homes.
The Welfare Council has activated the S.K.H Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund fundraising platform to provide timely assistance. All donations received (with no administrative fees deducted) will be used to offer cash grants or essential supplies to affected individuals and families, helping them cover urgent needs such as daily necessities, medical costs, and temporary accommodation.

Prayer for the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court Fire Victims and Ongoing Relief Efforts:
Lord, we ask for Your mercy. May the Holy Spirit personally comfort those who lost their lives in the disaster and their families. May God work through all medical staff and rescue forces to heal the injured, care for those whose bodies, minds, and spirits are weighed down by fear and distress, and encourage those anxiously waiting for news of their missing loved ones.
We also pray for Your protection over everyone involved in the rescue operations. Grant them safety as they carry out their duties, so that those still trapped may be rescued, families separated may be reunited, and the souls of the deceased may be received by You. Be present with the bereaved families, and mobilize all resources in society to provide the greatest possible help to the victims and their families.

Lord, we ask for Your help. May all the support and care offered to those affected by the disaster be delivered to everyone in need.
Protect each citizen whose body, mind, and soul are weighed down by concern for this tragedy. At the right time, grant us space for quiet rest and renewal, so that while we care for the needs of others and give what we are able, we may also attend to our own needs and find suitable help when necessary.
