Project Objectives:

 

With a donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre launched Jockey Club Cancer Survivorship Care Project in November 2021, allied with other non-governmental organisations, provide holistic services to cancer family. New Territories West Centre has been established in 2022. We are increasingly convinced the patient-centred, family-based and community-outreach support model provided by the Project.

 

Service Target:

 

Cancer patients and their caregivers who are living in Tseun Wan, Kwai Tsing, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai district.

 

 

Service Overview:

 

  1. Information and advice on cancer care
  2. Emotional support
  3. Home/ outreach visits
  4. Caregiver support
  5. Cancer nutrition
  6. Peer support meetings
  7. Refer for charity programmes/ subsidies to tangible services
  8. Allied health consultation (e.g. Dietitian, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner)
