The Jockey Club Kwai Wah Health and Wellbeing Centre under our organization held an opening ceremony today. Dr. Li Guodong, SBS, CStJ, JP, Chairman of the Elderly Commission and Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Association Limited, was invited to officiate. Archbishop Chan Yu-ming, Bishop of the Anglican Communion of Hong Kong, blessed the center, and Ms. Chung Wai-man, General Manager of Charities (Plenty Seniors and Elderly Services) of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, attended the thank-you ceremony. A number of district councilors from Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing districts, representatives from the post-secondary education sector, representatives from the medical and healthcare sectors and business partners were also invited to attend to witness this unique moment! An immersive experience and guided tour will be held at the same venue to showcase the center's inter-professional services and high-end gerontechnology application projects in the six major areas of "Healthy Aging".
