Since 2002, Wa-jin  (transliteration name) has been participating in the Taekwondo classes provided by the institution. Initially, he was simply seeking a form of entertainment and a way to exercise, without any grand ambitions. However, under the careful guidance of his instructors, he developed a great interest in Taekwondo. He began actively participating in various competitions organised by the centre, which not only broadened his horizons but also allowed him to meet and establish deep friendships with many like-minded individuals.

His passion and relentless effort led him to gradually rise from an ordinary student to an assistant instructor of the Taekwondo class, and ultimately, to successfully achieve a black belt and become a member of the Hong Kong Taekwondo team. His achievements have inspired many Taekwondo students, becoming their dream and role model.

Wa-jin not only has a deep interest in Taekwondo, but he has also turned it into his personal career. He became a Taekwondo coach at the centre, passing on the Taekwondo skills and experiences he has learned over the years to other students. Watching these students learn from scratch, and even achieving their black belts, gives him a sense of accomplishment that is beyond words.

His story is a journey filled with passion, perseverance, and personal growth, and it is a testament to his love for Taekwondo and his dedication to others.
